Depression

Imagine feeling like everything is a struggle. You lack motivation and energy to do anything. Even the smallest tasks feel like they require an enormous effort. It’s like being stuck in a dark hole unable to see a way out or find joy in anything. Depression is characterized by persistent feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and a lack of interest or pleasure in daily activities. It affects how a person thinks, feels, and handles daily activities. Symptoms often include changes in appetite or weight, sleep disturbances, fatigue, difficulty concentrating, and thoughts of worthlessness or guilt. In severe cases, depression can lead to thoughts of self-harm or suicide. There is light at the end of the tunnel when equipped with the proper support and adequate resources to thrive and prosper.
